Our tutors come from diverse backgrounds. They range from high school graduates to individuals with Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Rest assured, all of our tutors have many years of experience and come highly recommended by our parents.

What's your tutoring style?

We provide 1-on-1 instruction to our students. We strongly believe in the power of personalized attention, as it greatly enhances their chances of success. Whether it's in person or online, our dedicated tutors prioritize individualized instruction to meet the needs of each student.

How do you assess a student's needs and create a personalized tutoring plan?

We utilize various methods, including formal assessments and direct observation. These approaches allow us to gain a full understanding of the student's strengths and areas of improvement. By analyzing the results of formal assessments and closely observing the student's performance, we can personalize a tutoring plan that addresses their specific needs.

How many sessions may I schedule?

There's no limit to the number of sessions you can schedule. You're free to schedule as many as you need and as frequently as you'd like. Whether you require ongoing support or have specific topics in mind, our tutors are here to accommodate your learning needs. Simply reach out to us to schedule additional sessions whenever you feel it's necessary.

How long are the sessions?

That's up to you! The duration of our sessions is flexible and depends on your preferences and needs. The minimum duration we offer is 30 minutes. For middle school students, we recommend at least an hour-long session, while for high school and college students, we recommend at least an hour-and-a-half session.

When may I have sessions?

You may have sessions at any time, any day of the week. However, you and your tutor will arrange the time of sessions.

Can I choose a specific tutor?

Absolutely! You have the option to select a tutor based on their gender, age, or qualifications. If you're not satisfied with your initial tutor, you can request a change. However, please note that we're unable to guarantee your preferred choice. Additionally, it's important to consider that our highly qualified tutors may have higher rates. So feel free to explore and find the best fit for your learning needs!

How much do your sessions cost?

Our tutors set their own rates, so we work on a sliding scale. Contact us and we'll customize a payment plan for you.

What payment plan do you offer and payment methods do you accept?

We offer a convenient pay-per-session payment plan for our services. (We also offer payment arrangements if you'd like to purchase multiple hours at once.) To make the payment process easy and flexible, we accept various payment methods, including cash, credit and debit cards, Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle. You can choose the payment method that's easier for you and complete the transaction securely. If you have any specific payment preferences or questions, feel free to let us know, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Do you bring your own materials?

Yes, we do! We bring our own laptops, internet hotspots, paper, pencils, and pens. For assignments and practice, we print old exams, create worksheets, and utilize a variety of online resources. You're also welcome to use your own materials; matter of fact, we encourage you to do so.

What's the cancellation policy for sessions?

If you cancel a session within 24 hours, we'll charge you for the session, unless it's due to an emergency. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we're flexible in accommodating emergencies. However, for non-emergency cancellations within the 24-hour window, we have a cancellation fee to ensure that our tutors' time and expertise are valued. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please let us know, and we'll be happy to assist you.

What's the refund policy?

If you're using our pay-per-session payment plan, all purchases are final and we don't offer refunds. If you have a payment arrangement with us, we'll refund the unused portion of the arrangement (subject to director approval). We strive to provide our clients with the best products and services possible. However, due to the nature of our business, we offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. We encourage you to carefully review your purchase before completing any transaction.

Are you a vendor with the Department of Education?

Yes we are! If you're a principal or school representative, we're available for contract opportunities.

Do you collaborate with agencies and organizations?

Yes we do! We collaborate with social service agencies, day care centers, community organizations, and more to put together workshops and programs using our tutors. Contact us for opportunities.

Why should I pick you? There are many tutoring companies out there!

Excellent question! You should pick us because: (1) our tutors are well-educated and fully screened; (2) we offer multiple services in one place; and (3) our fees are below the average of many companies.
