For in-person services, we tutor students in the five boroughs of New York City (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island), as well as Nassau and Suffolk counties in Long Island. For online services, we tutor students in Canada, the United Kingdom, and across the United States.

What are the qualifications of your tutors?

Our tutors come from diverse backgrounds. They range from high school graduates to individuals with Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degrees. We also have former teachers among our tutors. Rest assured, all of our tutors have many years of experience and come highly recommended by our parents.

What's your tutoring style?

We provide 1-on-1 instruction to students. We strongly believe in the power of personalized attention, as it greatly enhances their chances of success. Whether it's in person or online, our dedicated tutors prioritize individualized instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.

How do you assess a student's needs and create a personalized tutoring plan?

To assess a student's needs and create a personalized tutoring plan, we utilize various methods, including formal assessments and direct observation. These approaches allow us to gain a comprehensive understanding of the student's strengths and areas requiring improvement. By analyzing the results of formal assessments and closely observing the student's performance, we can tailor a tutoring plan that addresses their specific needs. Our aim is to provide individualized support and guidance to help each student succeed.

How many sessions may I schedule?

There is no limit to the number of tutoring sessions you can schedule. You are free to schedule as many sessions as you need and as frequently as you prefer. Whether you require ongoing support or have specific topics or subjects you would like to focus on, our tutors are here to accommodate your learning needs. Simply reach out to us to schedule additional sessions whenever you feel it is necessary.

How long are the tutoring sessions?

That's up to you! The duration of our tutoring sessions is flexible and depends on your preferences and needs. The minimum duration for a session is 30 minutes. For middle school students, we recommend at least an hour-long session, while for high school and college students, we suggest a session of at least 1.5 hours. However, you have the option to extend your sessions in 15-minute increments if desired.

When may I have sessions?

You may have sessions in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings any day of the week. However, you and your tutor will arrange the necessary time of day to have sessions.

Can I choose a specific tutor?

Absolutely! You have the option to select a tutor based on their gender, age, or qualifications. If you're not satisfied with your initial tutor, you can request a change. However, please note that we're unable to guarantee your preferred choice. Additionally, it's important to consider that our highly qualified tutors may have higher rates. So feel free to explore and find the best fit for your learning needs!

How much do your sessions cost?

Our tutors set their own rates, so we work on a sliding scale. Contact us and we'll customize a payment plan for you.

What payment methods do you accept and what is the payment plan?

We offer a convenient pay-per-session payment plan for our services. To make the payment process easy and flexible, we accept various payment methods, including credit and debit cards, Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, and many others. You can choose the payment method that is most convenient for you and complete the transaction securely. If you have any specific payment preferences or questions, feel free to let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Do you bring your own materials?

Yes we do! We bring our own laptops, internet connections, paper, pencils, and pens. For assignments and practice, we print old exams, create and print worksheets, and use a variety of online resources. You’re welcome to use your own materials, however (we even encourage it).

What is the cancellation policy for sessions?

If you cancel a session within 24 hours, we will charge you for the session, unless it is due to an emergency. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we are flexible in accommodating emergencies. However, for regular cancellations within the 24-hour window, we have a cancellation fee to ensure that our tutors' time and expertise are valued. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please let us know, and we will be happy to assist you.
